I'm enrolled through my bank right now...for a 1st time home buyer program. You put in a specific amount each month for 10-12 months and as long as you keep your deposits current and meet their guidelines, they give you $7500 towards downpayment and whatnot. I'm excited and cant wait until June/July to get out of where I am and have something I am proud of.

I feel you on the parent thing man. My parents split and money has been a huge issue since my pops retired. Ma gets half his check, but you cant live off that. My ma really cant work because she has MS and takes care of my handicap sister. Buffalo is a tough place to live, but luckily we all make it through and have a roof over our heads and food on the table.

i'd invest in citi group right now for about of month....but i dont got 40g's laying around.

Yea I invest. 401k are nice. same as 301 b or w/e. The bank CD's and shti have changed. I was making like 40% a year, now its like 15% or some shit. but once its locked it doesnt matter. Its called Ballooning. If you guys fall into a chunk of money lock it up or invest. Economy is shit. Real Estate is a BIG fuckin NO NO! Ill rent til i fuckin die. I live on the lake if i owned my house id get anal fucked in taxes every year.

401K's are based of the stock market so yeah, but it will rebound and so now is the time to try and put as much money as you can into your 401K
